Kevin started at the Pack Rat in spring of 1995, selling boats, gear, clothing, and bicycles. A couple years later he was buying for the paddle sports department. He was able to take off almost any day or afternoon and paddle the creeks and rivers of the Ozarks after, a good rain storm. Kevin also have enjoyed mountain bike racing in the Ozarks for several years. One of the bigger bucket lists, years ago, included a trip out to western states for a month of exploring, cycling and paddling. Some of his favorite essential gear are a Kershaw Pack Rat knife and Salomon Predict SOC running shoes.
