Help clean up streamside areas to protect our local waterways!

Where: Check-in will be at Riverside Park in West Fork Arkansas. There will be multiple cleanup locations ranging from trail, land, in-stream, and floating (must provide your own boat and shuttle). Return to Riverside Park after cleanup for free food, music, and raffle prizes!

Details: The Beaver Watershed Alliance will host the West Fork – White River Cleanup on Saturday, May 21 in partnership with multiple community partners. Volunteers will help remove litter and bulky waste in the West Fork watershed, sub-watershed of Beaver Lake. Bring your own muck boots or waders to participate in in-stream cleanup areas.

What is provided: Gloves, tools, water, snacks, and cleanup supplies will be provided. Free lunch and raffle prizes will also be provided.

What to bring/wear: Dress in clothes you don’t mind getting dirty! Volunteers should wear closed-toe shoes and protective clothing; hip-waders and muck boots are encouraged for those wanting to participate in in-stream cleanup areas.

For more info and to volunteer, contact: info@beaverwatershedalliance.org or 479-750-8007 (text or call).
